Our emotions are like compasses in our lives, by exploring and accepting their message we can get along and find a better way. Psychology provides an inner transformative journey that we take in ourselves. Every journey is unique. Noone has to travel the very same road as you. Still, the experience of the journey can be shared. I am here to listen to you, to explore your opportunities towards a better future, a new way to go. I truly believe that everyone is capable of changing his/her life for the better. During psychological consultations I work with inner images in relaxed, altered states towards specific goals for a commonly agreed number of sessions. I also use some cognitive techniques and tools (mindfulness, self-compassion, acceptance and commitment), which are strongly connected to my research interest.

I believe that facing the past, accepting the present, and consciously shaping the future is possible for everyone if they receive personalized, professional support. Yoga helped me reconnect with my body, while psychology helped me understand my inner processes more deeply and accompany them in a more caring way—I would like to pass on this dual support to others.

In my work, I take a holistic approach to supporting those who want to understand themselves better and are looking for new ways to manage stress and emotional strain. Psychology, the structured framework of coaching, and the experiential path of yoga provide a set of tools that support lasting change on both a physical and spiritual level.

My goal is to create a safe, accepting space where self-confidence can gradually grow, inner resources can surface, and the dialogue between body and soul can become more and more livable in everyday life.

Guiding principles of my work:

Combining my background in psychology with a coaching approach allows me to address individual needs in a personalized, conscious, and goal-oriented manner. This combination provides an opportunity for deeper emotional exploration and concrete change.

For me, yoga is not just a form of exercise, but a means of creating a deep physical and spiritual connection that helps to achieve inner balance and harmony. The philosophy of yoga offers a holistic approach that treats the health of the body and soul as a whole, supporting personal development on all levels.

Autogenic training is a relaxation method that consciously helps to release physical tension and create mental balance. This technique helps individuals strengthen their self-regulatory abilities and manage stressful situations more effectively.

By combining psychological work and physical health through the philosophy of yoga and the approach of autogenic training, I am able to offer a unified, holistic approach. This approach supports the creation of real, lasting changes through the harmony of physical and mental processes, which serve to improve overall quality of life.

Treatment of anxiety and panic in Adults

Our therapeutic sessions help to relieve anxiety and panic in adults. Depending on the degree of anxiety and the severity of the symptoms in our clinic psychological counseling and basic psychotherapy is available.

Everyday anxiety is experienced by almost every person for a while, it only reaches the level of anxiety disorder in some cases. Therefore, it is important to identify in the very beginning the extent of the emotions, mood, or fears mentioned above. Moreover, determining to what extent life management skills, the ability to feel joy, handling human relationships and the ability to work are limited is crucial.

Anxiety remains within the limit of normalcy:

  • Your ability to experience joy is not affected by symptoms
  • You can still perform at work / deliver your tasks / carry out studies without worries,
  • Your social relationships are not affected by your symptoms,
  • Does not interfere with the normal sleep-wake cycle,
  • Occurs for a well-defined period of time and in relation to a specific topic / trauma.

In case of anxiety disorder, the exacerbation of anxiety can also cause serious problems, however, a wide range of effective psychological and psychotherapeutic options are available to overcome the symptoms. At Balansz Egészségfejlesztő Központ, we usually combine the methods of cognitive behavioral therapy, KIP (katathym imaginative psychotherapy) and family therapy.

Of course, in addition to these, in all other situations that arise, we provide the necessary support to resolve anxiety and panic.

Dates, location and price

The fee of the sessions is 8,000-11.000 HUF.

 

Therapies and consultations are held in our clinic near Jászai Mari Square (1055 Budapest, Stollár Béla u. 3) between 8:00 and 20:00 in the morning. The 50-minute sessions are led by Anna Veress, Bernadett Gombos or dr. Simon Zsófia Eszter.

Diagnosing certain symptoms of anxiety should be preceded by general medical examinations (blood tests, cardiovascular examinations, etc.), which are typically prescribed by a general practitioner (or other specialist). We will inform you about this at registration.
